About Megan Kish
Megan grew up in Winchester, Virginia, and she completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2012. She chose to attend the Physician Assistant program at Radford University Carilion for their education revolving around wholesome, patient centered care with an emphasis on evidence based medicine. She has a passion for continuity of care and enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Psychiatry. She has previous experience in the specialty of Urogynecology. Megan believes in a holistic approach to medicine and developing relationships with her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys weight lifting, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her two dogs.

I found Dr. Kish to be very knowledgeable, accommodating and caring professional. The overall ambience of the office was as inviting as it was pampering. Staff members (including the reception) were all courteous and zealous to please patients.
I would not hesitate to recommend this facility and the associated professionals very highly to anyone requiring their service.

Your app or address on Google Maps link is a house in a neighborhood behind where you actually are. The lady that lives there was quite surprised when she found me in her living room reading her old magazines:)

I have been going through different pediatricians with my new insurance and I am happy with Megan!!! She was very attentive and respected my decisions for my baby. To me, that is very important as a pediatrician or pediatric nurse. I felt very comfortable and valued as a patient there. I have decided to register my oldest daughter as a patient and I am considering going there for my primary care needs.

Please share with office: the ancillary person who administered my pneumonia vaccine did so incorrectly. Instead of the two fingers below my scapula, it was down and lateral-toward my back. I feel further training is imperative.

Megan is so sweet and such a great listener! I brought a sticky note of concerns and she made sure to go over every single one. She took her time and made sure all of my concerns were listened to and started problem solving right away. I am so glad I came to her for my annual visit and I am happy to continue my care with her. :)

I had a really conflicting experience. The staff was friendly, office was clean, but the second I was seen by a doctor it was recommended that I take a bunch of supplements, and was also encouraged to take meds I didn’t feel I needed. On a follow up visit, it was the same thing. Really friendly staff and they seem like they care, but medications are pushed pretty hard for any minor thing. Probably also explains the dozen different pamphlets in the lobby for how to get cheaper prescriptions. I’ve never had a PCP push this many drugs. Probably won’t come back.

Maria Iftikhar actually did my appointment and she, along with the nurse, were fantastic.
I went to Patient First (Leesburg) on 11 May, waited for almost three hours, and just left without seeing anyone due to sheer frustration with Patient First’s incompetence.
Fortunately I was able to get into Ashburn Sterling Internal Medicine the next morning. They did the normal vitals and discussion, and diagnosed my ear infection in less than 30 minutes. Perfect combination of thorough and efficient, with the expected results. They also promptly called in my prescription.
I’m fairly sure I’ll be changing my primary care location from Vita-Med to Ashburn Sterling Internal Medicine. They’re much friendlier, a LOT less condescending than Vita-Med, and much more efficient. Vita-Med has also repeatedly either not called in prescriptions or sent them to the incorrect pharmacy. Frustrating.
