About Dr. Megan Mont
Dr. Megan Mont earned her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Oklahoma and her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She completed her residency in the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land.
Dr. Mont is a board-certified family medicine specialist who also holds certificates in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), advanced life support in obstetrics (ALSO), neonatal resuscitation (NRP), Institute for Healthcare Improvement Quality and Safety, etonogestrel implantation and breastfeeding management.
She treats patients of all ages for both acute and chronic conditions, ranging from common colds and sprained ankles to diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. She also provides annual well-woman exams. Her primary clinical interests are women’s health, mental health, preventative care and keeping people healthy over their lifetimes.
Dr. Mont’s approach to patient care is collaborative. She likes to get to know her patients and understand their lifestyles so that the patient-physician team can come up with solutions that maintain long-term health, rather than provide a quick fix. She wants her patients to feel heard and empowered with the information she provides

I absolutely LOVED my first appointment with Dr. Mont and cannot recommend her enough! I truly felt listened to and she took the time to talk about my concerns and offer suggestions and referrals to doctors. The office also has a Quest diagnostics in-house so I was able to get my blood drawn immediately! The staff is friendly and I was seen on-time for my appointment.

Dr. Mont was so friendly and helpful. I’ve been searching for a new PCP and I’m so glad I found her! The office is great, parking is free and super easy, the staff is helpful, bathrooms and water fountains in the large waiting area. There is a lab onsite for bloodwork. I definitely recommend Dr. Mont!

Finding a doctor that you feel immediately comfortable with and listened to can be rare, yet that’s exactly how I felt as soon as Dr. Mont entered the room. She patiently listened to everything I had to say and was so incredibly patient and understanding. I told her all of my thoughts and/or worries and she took no time in letting me know that we’d get everything figured out. I think that some people are just born to be doctors and help others, and I believe that Dr. Mont is one of them. If you’re looking for a kind, sincere doctor who genuinely listens and wants to help, she’s it!

Dr. Mont was incredibly personable and thorough. I enjoyed meeting her and discussing my healthcare needs after missing several years of PCP annual visits. I would definitely visit her again for another annual physical or if anything comes up!
My one complaint was that the office was running behind and I wasn't seen until about an hour after my appointment time. I arrived a full 20 minutes early to settle any paperwork, so I was there quite a long time combined for what was a very quick and routine exam.
