About Dr. Melissa Charnesky
Melissa Charnesky, D.O. is a board-certified Otolaryngologist specializing in comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. She graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005 and completed her surgical internship and residency at Botsford Hospital (affiliated with Michigan State University) in 2010. In 2020, she completed a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Dr. Charnesky has built a respected career practicing in Michigan and Ohio and is now proud to bring her expertise to the greater Tampa community.
In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she is committed to training the next generation of osteopathic physicians.
She is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Charnesky enjoys traveling, spending time with her family including two basset hounds, and pursuing her lifelong passion for golf.
