This was my first time ever going to a chiropractor, and I had the best experience ever! Dr. Mel was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her and her team treated me with kindness and consideration for my first time at a chiropractor/ getting these treatments. I walked in with a painful back injury and walking out, I seriously felt like a new person just after one appointment. I am excited to continue going back to this office and seeing Doctor Mel, it was such a lovely experience and I feel overall so much better. Thank you Dr. Mel!

She attended Northeast College of Health Sciences, where she received her doctorate in chiropractic. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Niagara University with a full NCAA scholarship playing Division I volleyball at both Niagara University and Coastal Carolina University. As an athlete herself, Dr. McGwin is well-versed in the treatment of sports injuries, spinal rehabilitation and exercise re-education.
Dr. McGwin is certified in Webster technique and perinatal care for treating women during pregnancy and the postpartum recovery journey as well. She also specializes in treating soft tissue disorders with non-invasive manual treatments such as active release techniques, as well as a variety of spinal adjusting techniques for neck pain, back pain, joint pain, stress/tension headaches, sciatica, disc injuries/herniations and other musculoskeletal issues. Outside of work she enjoys staying active - playing volleyball, yoga, travel and arts. Dr Mel was a dream!!! Prestige health and wellness is a hidden Gem and Dr Mel is the star. She asked me detailed questions about my pain that no other medical doctor has ever asked me. I have been suffering for headaches and low back pain for years and in one visit I saw a 80% improvement. She explained to me my issues. An X-ray was given at the appointment and was reviewed immediately. I’ve been to chiropractors before and Her adjustments were honestly the best ive ever received. She created a treatment plan for me that catered to my needs. She was able to see me right away when I booked this last minute appointment. She is extremely friendly knowledge sweet warm and overall probably the best doctors visit I ever had. The staff is friendly. They verified my insurance right away and I knew what I was paying before I got to the office. The massage therapist were a delight. I can’t wait to continue treatment. Book dr Mel for your next appointment ASAP!!!.

My appointment with Dr. Melissa McGwin was above my expectations. I have not had an appointment with a chiropractor before, so I was not sure what to expect. However, Dr. Melissa was very understanding and helped me through the process.
We started with a discussion on my symptoms. She is knowledgeable and was confident in the questions she asked. She listened to my descriptions of the issues with full attention and concern. After performing an X-Ray, she was able to quickly and accurately diagnose potential problems seen on the image and relate them back to the issues I had brought up early.
Next, I had electrical muscle stimulation, followed by a massage. Finally, she made several adjustments in my thoracic spine, hips, and neck areas.
Dr. Melissa has a clear passion for what she does. She listens and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend seeing her.

I can not explain how relieved I feel after my visit today. Dr Melissa took a really good care of me. She addressed all my issues with neck and shoulders. I was very stiff. After adjustments I can move my head with no pain. I would recommend to see Dr Mel to all who seek pain free adjustments. She is very sweet too.
