About Meredith Mahen
Meredith Mahen, PA-C is Dermatology Center of Loudoun's newest physician assistant who actually started her dermatology career as a medical assistant with our practice after obtaining her BS degree in Health Sciences and Biology at James Madison University in 2017. With prior experience as an EMT, she impressed us with her work ethic, patient care skills, and intellectual curiosity as an MA at DCL. We knew to keep a close eye on her career path as she moved on to complete her PA training, also at James Madison University in 2021, and immediately offered her a position at DCL thereafter. She has received further specialized training under the guidance of our board-certified dermatologists and adds to the tradition of the finest PAs at DCL. Her areas of interest in dermatology include acne and psoriasis.
While out of the office, Meredith enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and gardening.

Ms. Meredith evaluated my issue and examined me. She diagnosed me right away. What I’ve been trying to do with the V.A. For months; she was able to do in a matter how f a few minutes. She even explained the medical condition to me in terms that I understand, and gave me recommendations for treatment. I asked her a couple plethora of questions and she her time in answering every one I f them. She made me feel so comfortable with my decision to have surgery that I went ahead and scheduled it as long as she would be present. In two weeks I’ll undergo a procedure to remove this lymphoma that has caused me so much pain for years and that the doctors at the VA couldn’t diagnose; that giving Meredith Mahen, PAC praise and review is the least I can do for all she’s doing to help me become pain free and get back to my very active lifestyle! Thnx Ms. Meredith!
