“This was my first appointment with a psychologist/psychitarist/therapist. He listened to what I had to say and took my words and actions (those I didn't know I was portraying) into account when developing a plan for me. I am looking forward to my next visit with him and I am excited to see what this next chapter will bring.”

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Dr Porter listens. He does genuinely want the best for his patients. Right off the bat he was very informative. He’s knowledgeable and very warm.
Meeting Dr. Porter was a pleasure! I came in with a completely different understanding of what I needed, but he quickly identified the core issues behind my mental health challenges and recommended an alternative medication that more directly addressed my symptoms. I told him during our session that I truly felt seen and understood—and I’m grateful for that. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in exploring the deeper “why” behind their diagnosis.
Dr. Porter has been dedicated to helping me from the first appointment. He asks questions and his knowledge is excellent. He makes sure my needs as a patient are met.
Dr. Porter was very kind. I had unfortunate news given to me right before our appointment, but he worked with me and we had discussed my medications but we decided to make some changes. So far, I highly recommend him as he seems quite knowledgeable, especially with my health issues. He’s a genuine person and I appreciate him.
