Dr. Civin is a New York State licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience treating adults, adolescents, couples and groups. A graduate of Harvard College and the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, he is a psychoanalyst who has published, delivered papers and taught both domestically and internationally. Dr. Civin has worked in a wide range of settings: inpatient, outpatient, addiction, adolescent day care, homes for adults, university-based clinics, organizational consultation and private practice. He is the author of the internationally acclaimed book, Male Female Email, one of the earliest in-depth studies of the impact of virtuality on our society and our psychology. He is a co-founder of Rose Hill Psychological Services and is in private practice in New York City.
