As a reconstructive urologist, he specializes in restoring form and function to the genitourinary system for patients recovering from trauma, injury, and cancer treatment. This includes urethral reconstruction for urethral stricture disease, management of male stress incontinence, surgical repair of Peyronie’s disease, and prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction. Previously, Dr. Davenport built a robust program in reconstructive urology with Colorado Permanente Medical Group, where he led a task force on transgender health. Additionally, his prior experience includes a role at Urology Associates of Colorado, where he focused on reconstructive and prosthetic procedures. Additionally, Dr. Davenport has contributed significantly to research, particularly in bladder cancer and urological reconstruction, with numerous publications in prominent urology journals. Dr. Davenport views his relationships with patients as a team effort, working together to understand complex problems and the treatment options that are available. Surgery can be confusing and frightening, and he strives to guide each patient through the process from start to finish as if they were family.
