Dr. Michael J. Ferrari, DPM, is a podiatrist and foot & ankle surgeon serving Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, and Wauconda, IL. A native of Prospect Heights, he attended Saint Viator High School and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Inspired by his early experience as a medical assistant at First Step Foot Care, he pursued his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Ferrari completed his surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident and trained under leading foot and ankle surgeons. His expertise includes reconstructive surgery, bunion and hammertoe correction, fracture care, sports injuries, and diabetic limb salvage. Outside the clinic, Dr. Ferrari enjoys golfing, cooking Italian meals, and spending time with his girlfriend and their golden retriever, Luna. He’s committed to providing compassionate, patient-focused care rooted in clear communication and evidence-based treatment.
