Dr. Klein was fast and efficient. I arrived early and was seen before my appointment time. Even though it was unrelated to my visit he gave me something for my headache before the procedure, and gave me a doctors note afterward just in case I felt like I needed it.

Dr. Klein moved to Maryland after completing his surgical residency in 2000.
As a surgical resident at Southwestern General Hospital, Dr. Klein had the opportunity to work with many surgeons and in many specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery. Dr. Klein worked closely with physicians at the El Paso Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Klein spent a year at the West Palm Beach FL Veterans Administration Hospital as well.
Dr. Klein became interested in medicine at an early age. Throughout his life Dr. Klein has participated in many organizations related to health care. Dr. Klein volunteered at local hospitals and worked with several physicians before attending college.

The office was very nice and the front staff was attentive. I didn't wait long for my appointment. I came in for some heal pain and diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I was worried that this would endure some long term treatment, but I was given a night splint to use and they recommended some laser treatment for my heals that was not covered by insurance. They also recommended some molded arch supports for my shoes that also was not covered by insurance, but I felt they tried to push me to go this way rather than go over with me other options. I was able to go to Wal Mart for some OTC cream and massager and I felt better within a week. I think the office tried their best or what they are used to but I don't think I would go back.

The receptionists were kind and I was greeted upon entering their office. They were personable and came through to offer me water while I was with the nurse. The doctor seems to enjoy his work! He was kind and personable and I REALLY appreciated the good experience I had there. He took time to explain my medical situation and did not rush me.

This was my first visit. Dr. Michael explained in details what plantar fasciitis is. I was hoping that he would examine the situation little bit more in details. But, he was more favoring towards Cortizone injections and Extra ShockWave Therapy than the usual home treatments. He seemed to believe that when you have PF once, you have it for life.

I had previously gone to two other foot specialists for problems related to my hammertoes, and both of them recommended surgery as the only option to remedy my problems. Dr. Klein, on the other hand, explained exactly what was causing my problems in terms that I could understand and recommended three or four options before considering surgery.
