He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, where he received extensive training in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. Having personally experienced multiple sports injuries as a national-level men’s gymnastics competitor, he is very passionate about surgical treatment for complex podiatric injuries. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is fluent in Russian.

I was clearly in distress over glass embedded in my foot and a terrible experience at an urgent care, followed by a visit at a major New York hospital that failed to remove the foreign body, and this doctor took it out while I was distracted talking to my friend. This is an above and beyond doctor, and I’ve been through 14 years of cancer treatment.

Dr Mazar was very professional and expedient. Only negative in the small office was the lack of a rest room - staff mentioned the toilet has been out of order for over a year - and staff must go down the street themselves. Bizarre.

I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone. I was mistreated without proper anesthesia, endured excruciating pain, for what I thought was just a visit to get something diagnosed.
In the middle of the procedure, while I was actively bleeding, on the brink of fainting from pain and shock, and incorrectly anesthetized (he gave me a shot in the wrong part of my foot), he disappeared to see another patient!
The whole experience was traumatizing to say the least. What was meant to be a diagnostic appointment turned into a world of pain, confusion and lack of preparedness. 0/10.

Dr. Mazer's office is in the Village, and we are in Queens.
However, the ride down is well worth it. Dr. Mazer consistently has a wonderful bedside manner, is responsive to our concerns, and does wonderful treatment! My wife and I highly recommend his services and very personable and caring personality. Thanks Dr. Mazer!

Made an appt the day before on zoc doc for an overworked foot/ ankle and was very happy with my visit. I waited for a bit to see someone but I was a new patient and the doctor was very helpful getting me a boot and a treatment plan, so far all covered under HealthFirst. Eh they are alright... They have a $40 cancellation fee and it felt like the doctor was just trying to sell me on their medical accessories rather than offer any other treatment advice.

Warmly greeted by the front desk and staff. Extremely polite and courteous.
The Doctor made me feel very comfortable from the moment that he walked in and introduced himself to me.
several X-rays which explained a lot to me.
The Doctor went on to explain how everything is affecting something else and it all made perfect sense to me.
He has a very warm and engaging personality and listens closely.

I was very impressed with Dr. Mazer and his office. Everyone was very kind and welcoming and I felt comfortable right away. I was able to fill out all of my intake forms via email which was very helpful. Dr. Mazer explained everything very clearly and I felt that I understood exactly what I needed to do to get better. A few days later when my job asked for a doctor's note, I emailed the office and they sent me one right away. I am very impressed with this office and I wish all doctor's offices operated this way!
