It has helped me greatly with my chronic conditions and living with them to have someone on my team and corner who not only cares but is highly educated. A physician who is worth the effort. I would highly recommend anyone from basic primary care to help managing and understanding deeper rooted issues. This step of having informed carefuly guided care has slowly began to change my life for the better and I’m very grateful. I have a lot of trauma and anxiety around doctors and medical procedures as I’ve been sick for a long time. But I feel safe here. “My visits are Vey Professional, Very Informative, Very Timely, and Very, Very, Friendly. From the time I step in the door the ENTIRE Staff is friendly. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE DR. MIKE!!! ?? HE listens to me, he HEARS ME, and he speaks TO ME not AT ME. I HONESTLY, TRULY BELIEVE, AND FEEL DR. MIKE has ME AND MY HEALTH in his BEST INTEREST!!! ”

About Dr. Michael Thorarinson

WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT PATIENTS 21+ WITH A LEGAL RESIDENCE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES: Mecklenburg, Alamance, Surry, Stokes, Rockingham, Yadkin, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, Davie, Iredell, Rowan, Cabarrus, Stanly, and Montgomery. If you have Medicaid, please be advised that PCP changes do not go into effect until the first of the following month.
Michael Thorarinson, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Gardner-Webb University.
?Dr. Mike? is board certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He is accepting new patients and provides several minor invasive procedures at the South Winston office, including, but not limited to, cryotherapy, removal of unwanted skin lesions, and basic steroid joint injections. He hopes to expand these services to our clinic here in Winston-Salem.
He is extremely passionate about educating new primary care providers and dedicates a considerable amount of clinical time to this cause.

Mike and Emily are the best doctors I have ever had. Myself and my husband had been going to Dr Mike since he started and I couldn’t find another doctor as good as him I highly recommend Both Dr Mike and Emily to anyone looking for a great doctor

I’ve seen Amy a couple of times Dr Mike is actually my doctor and Emmy is my husband‘s doctor and he absolutely adores her both of the doctors in that office. Come in pull up a chair to where they’re not looking down or up at you but straight at you. And straight in the eyes, I was very leery the first time I saw Emmy, but she was so compassionate and listen to my life history and told me a lot about herself. Also, I believe that a Dr Patient relationship goes a little bit beyond that it’s nice to know a little bit more about your doctor than they’re just your doctor , her background and mental health makes her exceptional at being a primary care physician. And especially Dr Mike he’s kind of like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get, but it’s always usually your favorite chocolates if you haven’t tried to see them and they will take a little time to sit down and talk with you to see if they’re good fit for you. Both providers are excellent! I’ve seen them both.
