Once in the treatment room, Dr. Vinchieri is a professional who knows his craft. I've been dealing with some lingering hamstring and lower back issue for some time now, a few appointments with Dr. Vinchieri and there's a substantial difference with my mobility and discomfort.
Highly recommend. ”

About Dr. Michael Vanchieri
Dr. Vanchieri is an Integrative Diagnosis provider certified to diagnose and treat adhesion in the lumbar spine, hip, thoracic spine, cervical spine, shoulder, and upper extremity. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences.
Before opening City Shockwave, he worked with professional athletes and models in Brooklyn, NY, and has been obsessed with making your appointment the best part of your day.
He specializes in fixing chronic musculoskeletal dysfunction in patients who have experienced pain for more than six months and have seen two or more providers without durable results.
Shockwave therapy is the primary modality he uses to eliminate chronic pain. By removing adhesion, reducing inflammation, and regenerating tissue, patients can expect to feel durable relief within 2-5 visits.

New Patient Exam (Queens): $275
FSA and HSA cards are accepted. He does not work with insurance companies but is happy to provide a SuperBill for patients to submit to their own insurance.

I came to see Dr. Vanchieri for some lingering leg/knee pain due to running. He addressed my pain/adhesion and created a treatment plan that was unique to me and easy to follow. Upon completing the treatment plan, I am able to run without any lingering pain and feel great. I would highly recommend Dr. Vanchieri to anyone suffering with chronic pain.

I’ve had chronic neck and shoulder pain for years. I was doubtful anything would help, but was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Mike delivered everything he promised and I had significant pain reduction! Definitely recommend!

Short review: Amazing results! He saved me from getting surgery! Dr. Mike is honest and knowledgeable! Don’t even think twice, it’s more than worth it!
Long review (please read, it’s worth it): I've had shoulder pain (both chronic and acute). He gave me full mobility in my shoulders and all the pain gone.
I had a tear in my hip! He helped me through recovery and put me on a rehab program that got me back to doing crossfit and running around with no pain! HE SAVED ME FROM HAVING SURGERY ON MY HIP!! I cannot say enough about this... I just can’t.
I had numbness in my fingers and helped me get full feeling back again after a few short visits.
I had a pain in my foot from running and he discovered that the tendon in my heal was close to tearing. He worked out the pain and prevented the tear. My foot and heal feel 100%!!
He gives a honest evaluation and let’s you know how he can help and how much he can help you recover(if it’s not 100%). I trust his work and his programming.

Dr. Vanchieri made a huge difference in my pain and mobility. Improvements were near immediate and when they slowed, he iterated on the treatment plan to eke out even more improvement. Moved away from NYC recently and really missing the opportunity to access adhesion relief in my new location!

My visit was great, the care was focused and efficient without feeling rushed. The Dr. Is very in tune with the issues with my body and has a clear plan to help improve those issues… I highly recommend this place!

There was once upon a time where I couldn’t go a day without suffering from serious chronic back pain. I accepted it and lived with it. Until I tried Dr Vanchieri. I can enjoy multiple rounds of golf a week now with running and the gym mixed in with zero back pain now. His staff is super friendly, and he’s by far the Easiest and most down to earth person to work with.

Dr. Mike saved me! I was told I need surgery for my lower back since I have a herniated disk. Hands down the most gentle and knowledgeable Doctor. He takes his time and explains the treatment and is honest. Been going to him for over 3 years and wouldn’t have it any other way!!!

After years of unsuccessful treatments for chronic neck pain that caused migraines, Dr. Vanchieri basically cured me. I tried everything - chiropractors, acupuncture, physical therapy, massages, supplements - and nothing worked. I went from having migraines 5 days a week to now maybe 1 every two weeks or so. He gave me my life back and I couldn't be more grateful.

Dr. V is excellent! His treatment has changed my life. He is very detailed and educates you about why and where you need treatment. He focuses on long term pain management/relief and not short term solutions. He is the best.

I went to Dr. Mike for my hip and he was extremely attentive and skilled with how he treated me. He also gave me specific workouts to help build my strength as part of treatments. I like how he was constantly asking for my feedback so he could continue to alleviate the pain I was experiencing. Thank you for everything.

Dr Mike is truly one of the best healthcare providers I've ever encountered. He's genuinely caring about his patients, and goes the extra mile to ensure they get better and can live a pain-free life. Dr Mike listens and understands, and tailors his treatment to the individual's needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach that I've seen from many other providers. He's extremely knowledgable and I feel very understood - and on top of that, he has a great sense of humour and makes every visit an utter delight.
