About Dr. Michael Verde

Michael J. Verde, M.D., D.C. is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with subspecialties in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine. He is highly trained in treating all matters of spine and sports related injuries with a focus on returning patients to optimal function. He is currently practicing at our Freehold, Jackson, Point Pleasant, and Toms River locations.
Dr. Verde treats a variety of patients from professional athletes to weekend mall walkers. He is currently serving as a team physician for The Jackson Lions and is active with the World Cup All-Star Cheerleaders.
Dr. Verde Graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2006 and practiced diversified technique as well as A.R.T for two years prior to attending medical school. He then graduated from St. George’s College of Medicine in 2012. His post-graduate training was completed at Michigan State University where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Verde is originally from Staten Island, NY. Since childhood he has been extremely active in the fishing community and saltwater fishing is his passion. It was through his love of fishing that he entered the medical field, after being injured while working on a fishing boat. Dr. Verde takes great pride in being able to restore his patients back to optimal functioning capabilities as soon as possible.

Dr. Verde spent a long time with me. Went over very thoroughly with me the reasons I suffer with chronic back pain. Very thoroughly examined my Range of motion. Reflexes. I was in surgery center 3 days later for multi level epidural injections. Knock on wood my pain has gone down a bit . After my consultation he set me up with physical therapy, chiropractic care. I'm also in near future will be having second surgical procedure which should loosen up alot of my spine cord compression. I am very pleased with him. Office is busy but there is no wait. Friendly office staff,friendly nurses. Great find

It is too soon to tell but time will tell. Most medical facilities down here compared to northern Jersey are not nearly as nice in atmosphere and this place is no exception. This is not a complaint at all about the staff but the first floor is very crowded and people are too close to one another even if we were not in a state of covid pandemic,
This is true of every place I have visited here. Miss being further north as far a facilities.

The receptionists were friendly and efficient when we arrived and when we made follow up appointments. After taking a few X-rays Dr Verde explained the different treatment he would suggest. The first set was more conservative and if that didn’t work he had other strategies in mind. He was very encouraging. Thank you
