About Dr. Michael Williams
As a Podiatrist, I believe it is important to provide my patients with thorough and individualized treatment for their foot and ankle ailments in a professional and caring environment. I earned my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I completed my surgical training at the esteemed MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., in 2009, where I served as chief resident of one of the largest programs in the USA. After training in a multi-specialty approach with renowned podiatrists, plastic surgeons, and vascular surgeons, my areas of expertise include elective surgery (with an emphasis on Lapiplasty), sports injuries, nail fungus, warts, plantar fasciitis, and ingrown toenails.
My experience ranges from busy downtown private practices to research-driven university hospitals, where rare ailments and complex surgeries were common occurrences. With the use of superior diagnostic equipment and ever-evolving treatment techniques, I am able to customize the most effective treatment for your ailment and lifestyle. When surgery is necessary, I make it my goal to ensure you are comfortable and receive the highest standard of care from your initial visit until your very last post-operative appointment. This was my first time visiting a podiatrist, and Lincoln Park Podiatry far exceeded my expectations! Everyone was so nice, and Dr. Williams really listened to the issue I was having, was very thorough in trying to find the cause of my pain, and also provided me with a reasonable treatment plan right away. I highly recommend their services to anyone unsure of whether they want to see a podiatrist or not. It was a great first-time experience for me.

I have been having foot pain for years and figured I was just out of shape and aging. Dr Williams immediately knew what the situation was after X-rays and as he explained it all made sense. I can’t believe I waited so long and glad I’m not crazy for my pain. He was so nice and staff was great. I feel such relief after my visit!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Williams. I have been suffering from achilles pain and Dr. Williams took the time to x-ray and ultrasound from
ankles and explain everything in the ultrasound.
He has one of the best doctor bedside manners Ive ever experienced. I feel completely comfortable with his treatment plan.
The front desk and the Doctor’s Assistant were just all just as helpful, friendly and caring as Dr. Williams.

I really appreciated the no nonsense approach Dr. Williams and his resident took with me. They listened carefully and after some close observation, came to a joint conclusion about my foot pain.
