Dr. Michal Ambalu is a licensed psychologist specializing in evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, ERP, and Behavioral Activation. Dr. Ambalu completed her doctorate at Hofstra University where she gained experience treating individuals presenting with a wide variety of clinical disorders.
She completed her internship at Hofstra University's Counseling Center, where she provided individual and group therapy for young adults with various disorders, including anxiety, depression, and OCD. Dr. Ambalu has also received additional training at the Child Mind Institute when working as a Clinical Team Leader for their summer treatment program for children with various diagnoses including anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. Dr. Ambalu is passionate about helping individuals suffering from psychological distress, and is dedicated to providing her clients with effective treatment to help them overcome their challenges and thrive in their lives!
