She has completed more than 10,000 Mohs surgeries and continues to advance her skills and incorporate new techniques into her practice. Dr. Pennie attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate degree, then attended Emory University for Medical School and Residency in Dermatology. She completed a Mohs Fellowship with Dr George Hruza at the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center in Chesterfield, Missouri. Before starting her own practice in 2012, Dr Pennie worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Florida. Dr. Pennie and her husband enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, fly fishing, yoga, and gourmet food and wine. Now that their kids are college age, they have more time to enjoy traveling and the outdoors.
