“I wouldn't say I'm super picky about healthcare providers but, like anyone, I do have basic preferences. I prefer someone who has a good balance of listening and providing helpful information, someone who can describe things to me in a way I can understand (not just medical terminology), and someone who gives me options for a plan on how to tackle the issue(s) I'm having. I think Michelle definitely met those requirements as well as the other staff I interacted with. They were all very friendly and not at all intimidating. Genuinely a great visit, no complaints and I will be returning for sure.”

About Michelle Walsh
Michelle Walsh, MS, PA-C, joined The Woman's Health Pavilion in 2016. She has always had a strong interest in women's health, which was further enhanced during her clinical rotations. As a certified physician assistant, Michelle takes pride in educating her OB-GYN patients on Long Island and building trustworthy relationships with them at all of our office locations.
Michelle earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Hofstra University. She then earned her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. During her graduate education, Michelle completed a thesis that was presented at the 2016 American Academy of Physician Assistants Conference in San Antonio, TX.

I am a Social Worker with a long career in healthcare so I can be pretty critical of healthcare providers. I was not disappointed by this practice whatsoever.
The office was clean, well-kept and super friendly.
Front desk staff were warm and accomodating.
The MA Carolyn, the sonographer (I apologize for forgetting her name) and Ms. Walsh were clear, attentive and friendly throughout my visit.
Women's health visits can be really nerve-wracking and I was nervous about starting with a new provider.
They were all extremely comforting and thorough. I was able to have blood work and a sonogram done right on site. I am so glad I found this practice through Zocdoc and will definitely be using them for my regular OBGYN care. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to establish care with a practice!

To start off the office is so organized! They have such a big waiting room so you’re not sitting on top of everyone, and I was only waiting about five minutes. The staff in the reception area were really kind and patient because I had a lot of questions about the forms. As someone with anxiety, it really does help that the staff is so open and patient. Michelle herself was nice, she didn’t hesitate to educate me on things I had questions about and was just very kind throughout the process! The nurse who did my intake information even saved all of us time by answering a question I had and sharing a personal story to relate. I really can’t say enough good things about the hospitality and professionalism at the Women’s Health Pavillion!
