She got me a dose quickly, and made sure that I was on board with it. Gave me a run down of all the side effects, and let me know what I might be experiencing while adjusting to it. She set up a follow up appointment with me right away. Great active listener and knows how to relate to clients in a really engaging way, my problem with mental health professionals in the past has been feeling like they didn’t truly understand my issues but it felt like she really did and asked all the right questions when I was scared to share too much. Genuinely cares in a way that feels as though she wants to connect as much as she can whilst being professional. Really recommend her if you’re neurospicy or having any mental health issues of any kind. 10/10”

Getting to know Mikaylah Cloutier
I was drawn to psychiatry by my passion for helping people feel supported and empowered in their mental health journey. I hold a Master’s in Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Maryville University, which has deepened my understanding of holistic mental health care.
I believe that obstacles don’t define a person, and with the right care, healing is possible. My approach is holistic and nonjudgmental, ensuring that you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your treatment.
Specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and insomnia, I combine evidence-based medication management with personalized support. Working collaboratively with patients, I create treatment plans that align with your goals, values, and experiences.
My mental health care experience is shaped by my commitment to understanding the full picture of a patient’s well-being. I’ve treated diverse individuals, including young adults, middle-aged adults, and LGBTQIA+ patients.
When I’m not caring for patients, I enjoy baking, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also a proud cat mom to my beloved pet, Juniper.
Passionate about climate action, I believe in the importance of balance—both in mental health and in the world around us.
What should a new client know about working with you?
A quick note on insurance: I know navigating insurance plans and copays can be confusing, so I want to be upfront about coverage before you book. I’m in-network with most health insurance plans, but I want to make sure there are no surprises when it comes to billing.
At this time, I’m not in-network with Medicaid plans, including AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) and Health First Colorado (Colorado Medicaid) — even if they’re combined with another type of insurance. Due to state regulations, I’m unable to see patients with Medicaid coverage.
If your insurance card lists your plan as a Community Plan, it is a Medicaid-sponsored health plan and is not accepted at our practice.
I truly wish I could treat everyone, but unfortunately, some types of coverage prevent me from providing care. If this applies to you, I completely understand how frustrating that may be and encourage you to check with your plan for in-network providers who can meet your needs.
