Mikias’s interest in surgical dermatology started whilst working as a medical assistant for Anne Arundel Dermatology Mohs Surgery Center prior to becoming a physician assistant. Upon his return to Anne Arundel Dermatology, he has been an active member of the Mohs Surgery Team. Mikias has extensive experience assisting with Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery.
He is licensed in the state of Maryland and is nationally certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Associate of Surgical Physician Assistants (AASPA) and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
