This is a very modern optometry office. I was seen very quickly and everyone was informative and helpful. Testing was done quickly and efficiently and all of the equipment is state of the art. The doctor was very personable and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Mintra Sattam grew up in Houston and has chosen to be a part of the growing East End community. Dr. Sattam received bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and biology at the University of Texas at Austin and a doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed specialty training through externships in cataract and refractive surgery co-management, contact lenses, and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. During her training, she was elected to the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society. As a primary eye care provider, Dr. Sattam conducts comprehensive eye exams, treats common vision problems, red eyes, and offers management of ocular diseases.

I was so impressed at every step of the way! The staff listened to my concerns, offered suggestions on how to help mitigate some of the issues I was having, explained everything including costs, and I never had to wait. Visit was covered by insurance, and frames were affordable and fashionable. I’ll definitely be back!

Overall great experience. Easy to make a reservation on Zocdoc, easy digital check-in when I got there (no pen/paper required). The office was very clean. The appointment/checkup process was quick and smooth. They even fixed my glasses and let me know my lenses were still under warranty and I could get a free replacement for some minor scratches.
