Mir Ali, MD, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician who graduated from Deccan College of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Michigan State University - Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. Dr. Ali then joined Sanford Health, where he practiced traditional Family Medicine for nine years.
In May 2016, he moved to Texas with his wife and four children and worked in a primary care clinic in Mesquite for five months before opening his own clinic in Plano. His interest and passion for Family Medicine stem from his love of continuity of care and providing evidence-based medical care for patients aged six years and older.
He also holds a Master of Public Health degree and actively encourages and advocates for his patients to adopt a healthy diet, quit smoking, develop a healthy lifestyle, and change health behaviors.

Great first visit! One of the best medical appointments I've had in inside the US in recent years. No nonsense.
I was contacted in advance when there was a problem with my insurance so I was able to straighten it out beforehand.
Handwritten paperwork was minimal and I was seen on time. Dr Ali was respectful, knowledgeable, and listened well. He did not seem rushed and we were not interrupted.
His diagnosis made sense and prescriptions were called to my pharmacy promptly.
Does it get any better? I will absolutely use this doctor again!
