During this time, Williamsburg Therapy Group is offering teletherapy options. Dr. Nikc is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy to both individuals and couples. She specializes in treatment of those who find themselves struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse family conflict, work stressors, grief and loss, prominent life transitions, issues of acculturation, interpersonal difficulties, and feeling “lost” or “stuck”.
Working from a collaborative approach, Dr. Nikc strives to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment for her patients to examine the challenges that often prompt one to enter into treatment. Through the lens of past experiences and relationships, Dr. Nikc encourages her patients to gain insight and awareness into maladaptive patterns of being and relating in the world that often perpetuate suffering and contribute to lack of fulfillment and joy. Drawing on her work in treating patients with substance abuse, Dr. Nikc is passionate about identifying barriers to growth and change, establishing healthy means of coping with difficult emotional states, and approaching treatment overall from a harm reduction perspective. Dr. Nikc also frequently utilizes tools such as mindfulness and meditation in order to provide a holistic approach that integrates and honors the powerful connection between body and mind.

Dr Nikc is a great listener and gives very insightful and practical feedback. While still considering all the information from one's past, she works on changes that can be actioned in the present - giving one a feeling of agency and hope. I highly recommend her services.
