Getting to know Monique Cuthbertson
Have you ever felt misunderstood? Maybe unheard? What about feeling as though your needs were simply not being met? I am a provider who is happy to listen and guide you through difficult times, and/or assist in maintaining your level of stability with medication and talk therapy. I believe in helping my clients reach their goals, where possible, so they can maintain or improve their quality of life. I take your concerns seriously. I believe in holistic treatment and empowering you to take an active role in your own wellness. If you are ready to put in the work, I am ready to stand by and guide you through the process.
I have experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. I have aided these individuals in multiple settings, facing various complex mental health issues, including bipolar disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction. I am here to listen to your concerns and create a treatment plan specifically tailored to your needs.
I hold both a master’s degree in Nursing and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix, as well as a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing from Wilkes University.

The style/therapy approach I use is motivation based, person-centered, and solution focused. My goal is to empower you to take control of your life and aim for happiness.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Each session will be client driven and client focused. Each treatment plan is tailored to the person and their needs. We will discuss coping skills along with medication management. We will discuss ways that you can be empowered as the recipient of treatment.

Office called me so many times the day before my appointment. They rescheduled one time then the day of they want to say that they still won’t be able to take me in and want me to reschedule AGAIN for a whole other day when i’m busy. Most confusing office of people ever can barely understand what the lady on the phone is saying. So unprofessional would not recommend.
