About Dr. Motaz Ibrahim
After working as a family physician for five years, I found that, in addition to building long-term relationships with patients and their families, you witness them through both good and challenging times. You come to understand the family dynamics deeply. In general, family doctors are there for the long haul. I have always been passionate about traditional medicine, which allows you to see and be with your patients both outpatient and inpatient, being available for them at all times. This availability helps strengthen the bond and the patient-doctor relationship.
My family has played an important role in my life. Being born to a father who worked abroad and a housewife mother, and as the eldest son, I took on responsibility and leadership early in life.
Personally, I was the captain of the Union Club basketball team for 11 consecutive years and also played for Alexandria University’s basketball team for four years. I believe basketball has taught me many valuable life lessons such as commitment, responsibility, and teamwork. As a team member, I had to fully commit myself because my actions affected not only me but also my teammates.
I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine and completed my Residency in Family Medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital. My goal with CLS is to build a family medicine practice that plays a vital role in the community, sharing my passion for traditional medicine and serving my patients for the long haul.
In the end, I believe that my passion for people, knowledge in the field, enthusiasm, professionalism, leadership, and dedication to my work will help me achieve my potential and be the best family physician I can be.

Appointment felt rushed. The doctor was polite but dismissive. He didn't really bother to listen to my concerns. Pushed services I didn't come for. Not what Im looking for in a pcp at all. The entire staff was super friendly. I was disappointed because I took a day off work and drove out the way because of the really high ratings.

I never got to see the Dr because I was so turned off by his rude and unwelcoming front office staff that I left!!! There was no sort of "Hello, hi, how are you doing" nothing when I came in. No sort of acknowledgement. Then after a bit it was "I need you ID and insurance card" still no Hello, hi, sorry I was busy...just rude and unwelcoming. Then I was handed forms I already filled out online. What was the point of doing it online? ITS A NO FOR ME.

They were very welcoming and so friendly. They checked in with me multiple times. Made sure I understood what they said. It was very clean and quick. My appointment was at 11:00. I was out with my blood work done within 30 minutes. Highly recommended them. They will be my new primary care provider.

Was visiting this doctor for the first time to set up as PCM and also discuss a couple health concerns. While I felt the Doctor and staff were very friendly I didn’t feel like they addressed my health concerns. Results of my annual physical was “all good”. I did not feel valued as a patient or that they had any true concern for my health. My appointment was at 4:30 and they didn’t see me until 4:45 which the wait wasn’t bad. I believe they didn’t spend a lot of time with me because they were trying to rush to close the office by 5:00. I don’t know that; that’s just a speculation.

What stood out to me is the bedside manner! This office and doctor communicate Very well. My results were in the next day and I received a call from the actual doctor. The doctor is very nice and thorough, the staff is nice too BUT … I haven’t received my prescriptions at my pharmacy yet. It’s afternoon the next day and I left a message last night after they didn’t send them and I have tried to call and get through 3x today no one picks up the phone so that is extremely frustrating. I feel awful and can’t get my medication to help.

Very pleasant experience being the first time from the front desk Karli to the physician Dr. Motaz. I do recommend this Dr. I will rate him 11 out of 10 pleasant, professional and friendly.
Even my first visit I was diagnosed with Covid positive but still I am so glad I scheduled appointment with him and I am changing my PCP to him. Been with my PCP over 7 years.
