About Dr. Motunrayo Adisa
Dr. Morayo Adisa is double board-certified as a dermatologist and dermatopathologist. She has a passion for providing highly personalized care for all her patients. Her areas of interest include medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology for all ages and skin types.
Dr. Adisa obtained a BA in Microbiology from Southern Illinois University and her medical degree from University of Illinois, where she was a James Scholar. Thereafter, she completed her medical internship at Evanston Northwestern Hospital and her dermatology residency at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. She completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Roger Williams Medical Center in Rhode Island and a subsequent advanced fellowship in dermatopathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Adisa enjoys spending time with her family , traveling and engaging in community and philanthropic activities.

Communication a little lacking. Doctor was nice but test results communicated slowly. They took daughter’s height and weight at initial appointment but then asked me again like maybe it was never recorded (which was necessary for medication). Hoping this last minute and hour plus wait was a fluke.

Dr. Adisa was amazing. I’m so happy I found her. She was attentive to my concerns and addressed my needs collaboratively. Her approach is extremely thorough, which is appreciated. I feel at ease during my conversation with her. But most of all, I felt SEEN. I definitely will make the drive from the city to her every time.

Great experience. Very conformable and genuine experience with Dr. Motunrayo Adisa. She was thorough and straightforward but not cold or distant.
I really liked her and we had a few laughs which made it so much less awkward, considering she's looking at you all over. There was a very nice and helpful assistant (Gabrielle) before and during and after the appointment who reiterates any info you need. I asked a million questions and all we're answered. I've already recommended her to several friends.

While I thought Dr. Adisa's bedside manner was friendly and appropriate, I felt that she didn't really give me a chance to explain my concerns and immediately jumped right into treatment, which ultimately made the skin problem I was having much worse. I wish I had had a chance to refuse the treatment. I also waited in the room for a little over 30 minutes and then was seen by the doctor for a total of 4 minutes.

Wait time was 40 minutes which I think is too long. Doctor apologized for the wait, and she was very friendly. I’m hoping she was thorough enough. She answered all questions I had.

Dr. Adisa was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I have several questions that involved both potential serious issues with skin cancer, as well as aesthetic questions. Dr. Adisa was very pleasant and after saying she had read the list of issues I wanted to address, she said let's start from the top and go to the bottom. We did, and then I remembered another issue. We agreed that we would take it up at the next appointment. We went over the plan. She explained what she was prescribing and how to take it and said if I had any questions, don't hesitate to call. If something was not working well, she wanted to tackle the problem right away. We have a plan, and I'm very happy. Dr. Adisa listened to me and my concerns. She understood and worked with me.
