“Dr. Arya is great! He truly stands out among the many doctors I’ve seen. Unlike others, he took the genuine time to thoroughly walk me through my MRI and scan results, explaining everything in clear, understandable terms so I felt fully informed and reassured.
He was incredibly attentive, actively listening to all my concerns without rushing, and addressed them with compassion and expertise. Despite the demanding holiday season, he went above and beyond to expedite my procedure scheduling, ensuring I received timely care.
I highly recommend Dr. Arya to anyone seeking a caring, dedicated, and patient-focused doctor! ”

This was a follow-up visit. He's very good, and I like his new associate a lot. I don't know that I got the greatest advice; I was sent to a terrible specialist (a waste of a co-pay), but that may not be the doctor's fault.

The doctor was thoughtful and helpful and friendly. Felt good about the appointment, like I've finally figured out the cause of my issues after months of seeing other doctors.

Dr. Arya told me that based on my symptoms I was in need of a endoscopy. He told me because of their severity, it would all be covered by insurance.
All that was covered was his fee. While an endoscopy is a simple in patient procedure- he told me he only performs them at a hospital. He didn't tell me that I would be billed by everyone involved.
Now, a year later, I was forced to cover the hospital bill AND the separate anesthesiologist that he hired. The doctor has not been helpful as I dispute these charges and the more I learn about what I should have been informed about I'm just so disappointed.

Terrible bedside manner, actively spoke with his intern about me i another room in a derogatory manner which I could clearly hear. He was very dismissive of my ailment and overall just generally treated me like a second class citizen.

Everyone was very affable.

Very disappointed, I waited over two hours to be seen for a ten minute conversation that felt extremely rushed only to be prescribed two medications, and a referral to another specialist that did not accept my medical insurance. Very frustrating to put your trust onto a doctor that does not take their time to listen to your concerns to help in possibly diagnosing a medical condition, or to verify in front of you a valid referal to another colleague in the medical field.

Amazing doctor, has a calm presence that allows you address your questions and concerns, never made me feel rushed. I may have to ask him to be my primary care doctor because he's that good.

Doctor really listened all my symptoms; Asked questions, took notes, examined me. Felt confident in his diagnosis. Second time I went to him.

I think Dr. Arya is terrific. He is extremely bright and he is willing to ask and answer questions and to have a real dialogue with his patients. I fully trust him and have already recommended him to my friends. I have no fears about returning for my follow-up colonoscopy--I really trust him.
August 22, 2013Susan B.Verified patient
I had my 1st colonoscopy today, and Dr. Arya's schedule was backed up (it happens). I was a bit upset at the long wait (IV, gown, etc.) and he came out and talked to me before the procedure to reassure me and regain my trust. This is unusual in a Dr.--and he also has a sense of humor. He's smart--I'm glad to have found him.

I had a great visit. The doctor was very professional and patient with me since I had to bring a fussy baby with me. He answered all of my questions and didn't leap to conclusions without understanding more. That was very refreshing to meet a doctor who is willing to wait for more tests or answers before developing an answer. I would definitely go back.
