Myah received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Myah has a nursing background in treating adult and pediatric populations with acute and chronic health issues. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Myah has exceptional experience in various medical disciplines including nursing care for Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and Transplant patients.
Throughout her education and clinical training, Myah was recognized for demonstrating advanced levels of clinical judgement and scholarship and received the Doctor of Nursing Practice Clinical Award among her graduating cohort. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. With her alma mater, Myah has had work published on evidence-based Quality Improvement projects.
Myah is passionate about accessible health education and intentional, equitable patient care. Her commitment to serving within her local communities is guided by her heart. Myah’s interest in pursuing a career in healthcare dates back to 2010, and from then, she knew she wanted to work in Primary Care.

She was really great listen, explained things well, was very accommodating, made great suggestions and recommendations. Was more than willing to give me a referral needed for genetic testing. She had really great energy and I felt heard. The o ly slight issue that I had was the person drawing blood taking a phone call which resulted in me having to wait for that portion of the service but as far as the provider 10/10 would recommend!

I am an older Woman that prefers female gynecologists. After reviewing ratings I chose Myah Mukes DNP I was thrilled to have a young woman attentive, kind and she was so gentle responding to my embarrassing questions. She made me feel normal and reduced my anxiety and concerns immediately. I will definitely be returning for my medical needs.

The experience with the nurse practitioner was excellent. However, the office and facilities are very deficient and give a bad impression. Improving the infrastructure and appearance is necessary to match the professionalism of the staff. I would recommend remodeling and modernizing the offices. It is not pleasant to wait there. It's a shame because it is very convenient and quick to have LabCorp on-site. For this reason, I am unsure if I will return, despite the fact that the nurses, as I mentioned, are excellent.

Very comfortable interaction and one of the best physician experiences I’ve ever had; fantastic listener as well. Never felt rushed, and we addressed all of my concerns and easy to schedule follow ups. Medications were also issued in a timely manner. She’s stuck with me for life.

Dr. Myah was incredible! She really took her time to listen to me and gain an understanding of my whole self instead of just trying to put a bandaid on a symptom. She was thorough and unbelievably kind, and she is an excellent listener. I would recommend her to anyone, and it was worth the long wait at the office to see her. Overall experience was great for a new patient. Wait was a little long, but it seems as if there was an influx of new patients so I imagine that can bog down the system. The consultation with Dr. Mukes was direct and informative; we did a comprehensive medical history review and were able to construct a structured health plan including prescriptions, follow ups, and specialist referrals. Everything felt very human and genuine and I highly recommend Dr. Mukes.

The office was well-ran. I felt that all personnel asked important questions. There was quite a wait time, but it was my first visit and it was quite busy. Dr. Mukes was attentive to all concerns and made sure to be thorough. I appreciate her attention to detail and bedside care. The office is LGBTQ+ friendly.
