About Dr. Haizia Amsler
Lamia Amsler, MD, is a board-certified internist with more than 30 years of experience in medicine. She earned her medical degree in 1991 from the Institute of Medical Sciences in Annaba, Algeria. Following medical school, Dr. Amsler pursued training in cardiovascular medicine and became a cardiologist in 1995. After moving to the United States in 2002, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Amsler has developed experience across many areas of healthcare, with a strong focus on prevention and the management of chronic conditions. She believes in caring for the whole person, recognizing that physical health and emotional well-being are deeply connected.
Dr. Amsler is known for treating her patients with compassion, respect, and the same level of care she would offer her own family. She takes the time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and create care plans that reflect their individual needs and circumstances.

She was wonderful. I liked the fact that she was taking notes as I was telling her my history. She did not rush me at all. She focused on each concerns and she was very detailed about the steps we will take for my health concerns. Dr. Amsler is a great doctor.

I really enjoyed my visit today. Dr. Amsler is very polite. She addressed all my concerns and I was in and out in a timely manner. The office staff was also wonderful. This is now my PCP office. Will be telling family and friends.

She is amazing. Dr. Amsler is a great communicator and has a lot of passion when it comes to her work. She took the time to go over my labs from another provider to make sure I understand why she was sending me to a specialist. Very knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed my visit.
