South Florida Family Health & Research Centers Medical Divisions of Primary Care, Family Medicine, and Parasitic Infectious Disease are staffed by board-certified physicians, physician assistants, and experienced medical assistants who stay up-to-date with the latest medical treatments and technologies. We are dedicated to providing world-class health services to you and your family.
Our mission is to provide outstanding medical care when and where it’s most needed. We focus on the most effective treatments for common illnesses and health problems affecting you and your loved ones.
If you have health concerns but are uninsured, South Florida Family Health & Research Centers offers convenient, affordable healthcare committed to keeping you and your family healthy.
Our providers include graduates of the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, holding Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees, with residency training in Family Practice at Peninsula Hospital Center.

I will not be coming back to this office. I felt severely disrespected. I was told to come back for lab work
in June and the doctor made a comment in the background. If you have to say something to a patient say it to their face and be respectful. You never know who is listening. ?

Wait time and front desk were good. I was seen by a student that informed me the doctor was too busy to personally see me. The student was kind and asked good questions. When I finally saw Dr. Nancy she spent all of two minutes with me, did not ask any questions, and made a negative comment on my weight. It was my first time as her patient, and I will probably not be back. Went out of my way to find a black female doctor, but was incredibly disappointed.

Everyone I encountered was truly amazing, The staff was excellent. Usually I do not like to get my blood extracted because it hurts but the young lady who extracted the blood did it with precision and it did not hurt at all. The Dr. and intern was very nice and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed, they took their time and addressed all my concerns and made me feel comfortable.

I have not been to a PCP in a very long time. Quite simply, I had not found one I liked and the search is over! In the past, I have had negative experiences in dealing with medical offices but not this one. The support staff are all very friendly and polite which really helped ease any fear I was feeling. After getting my vitals taken and blood drawn, I met with Sarah, a medical student who is working in the office. Sarah spent time going over my medical history and answering any question I might have had. I then met Dr. Pyram-Bernard. She examined me, asked questions, discussed my concerns and sent me on my merry way. I have been dreading this appointment since the moment I made it but left feeling really happy that I finally found a PCP!

Dr. Nancy Pyram-Bernard is a excellent doctor. The staff is very nice and helpful and they go the extra step to help you with anything you need.
Dr. Bernard is such a positive doctor uplifting and show true concern to her patients as if she is helping someone she actual knows not just a patient.

Dr. Pyram-Bernard is such a warm and personable physician. She truly has made both of my office visits feel calm. She gives you information and uses such incredible tact. She also makes you feel like you can make the health adjustments needed to succeed in your wellness journey. Wonderful person and I appreciate her knowledge and time!

Honestly I was pleased with my first appointment,I was very skeptical of going in the first place after reading negative reviews on the staff, ..but to my surprise I was nothing like the reviews.. being that I’m in the medical field myself, I was very observant of the way the physician and staff addressed patients + also the physicians standard of care was … I will be staying with her as my pcp based off my first initial appointment and interaction with staff + doctor….

the whole experience was great. My appointment was 2 hours later when I got there but they made a window to accommodate my urgency. I came in with worries and doubts that I will find a solution to my issues but they were very into putting me at ease and working with me to find the cause by asking all the right questions, making sure nothing is left unturned.
I was properly taken care of and was filling more at peace than when I visit an urgent care place just a week ago. If you looking for great primary care for your family. I highly recommend Dr. Nancy Pyram-Bernard, DO.
