I immediately felt comfortable when I walked in to the office. Front desk staff were really friendly and Naomi NP was very nice and has a calm demeanor that made it easy to talk to her. Plus her office is decorated in purple and it’s my favorite color so I may be a little biased ??

More about Naomi Rebeles, NP
Naomi is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She obtained her master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Clearwater, Florida. She graduated with Highest Honors and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society. She has been a nurse since 2009 and is passionate about mental health.
Her empathy and compassion are strong qualities ingrained in her since childhood, so naturally, she gravitated toward a career in healthcare. She started her medical experience as a medical technician in the Air Force in 2002, where she served as an EMT-B and worked on an ob/medical-surgical unit. In 2009, she obtained her licensed vocational nursing certificate in San Antonio, Texas. She went on to work in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit, an outpatient veteran's clinic, and home health nursing. In 2015, she obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing and began her career as an emergency room nurse for nearly ten years.
After witnessing countless individuals in need of empathetic, compassionate, caring mental health providers, she decided to pursue an Advanced Practice degree in psychiatry in 2020 to help fill the needs of her community. She helps individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, and other debilitating conditions. She was raised in Laredo, Texas, and is familiar with the stigma that some individuals place on mental health. So she strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for anyone wanting to improve their day-to-day struggles with their mental health.
She is fluent in English and Spanish. Naomi enjoys spending time with her three children, yoga, playing basketball, and learning about the brain, space, and history.
