She’s nice, but I feel she was very dismissive and immediately went to fat shaming me. I got bloodwork for PCOS a couple years ago and have high testosterone levels, and was explaining my weight fluctuations and indigestion and irregular period. She said she’s not convinced that I have PCOS and just need to lose weight and see a nutritionist. I already work out consistently and lost 15 lbs since December. I don’t like that this was her only answer and no guidance to a different type of hormonal disorder if not PCOS just because I didn’t have it til… recently? I specifically went to an endocrinologist to figure it out. Not be told what any other primary doctor would say “you just need to lose weight”. Ew. Terrible response. We’ll see after this bloodwork and ultrasound but I don’t like being dismissed for my weight because I am not even visually as big as my number on the scale. I’m midsized and was told my weight is excessive.

I saw Dr. Branis as a new patient and was very excited after my visit with her. She was kind, attentive, took time to review my medical history and answer my questions. At the end of the visit she told me to get bloodwork done and schedule a Telehealth appointment to go over the results, my concerns and symptoms, and my medication dosage. The scheduler wasn't in yet, but they said they would call me to set up the Telehealth appointment.
Everything went downhill from there. I tried for 2 weeks to schedule my appointment (because nobody ever called to do it), left voicemails and portal messages, and was never answered. In the end, they sent me the same prescription I already have based on bloodwork alone (still without ever getting back to me) and didn't take into account any of my symptoms or concerns, even though Dr. Branis had said at my appointment that there were optimal numbers, but it also depends on how you feel. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Dr. Branis was very caring, listened to my concerns. The visit was not rushed. She ordered blood work for thyroid, diabetes and an ultrasound of thyroid. I am very pleased with the care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Branis. I had to wait two months for appt. and it was Worth the wait.

Everyone in the office is professional and friendly. Dr. Banis is very thorough, detail oriented in her examination. She does not rush the appointment - she listens the patients! She explains everything and makes sure that the patient understands all available options.

I feel like she didn’t listen to me or frankly care about what is going on. I mentioned to my obgyn I had an apt w her and he thought a work up was a really good idea. Have been having severe health issues leading to hormone problems and she did not absorb a word that came out of my mouth.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Everyone was friendly. Dr. Banis was very thorough in her examination and made sure that I understood everything she explained. She made me feel like I was important and I did not feel like I was being rushed . I would strongly recommend her.
