Getting to know Dr. Navid Vassey
Dr. Navid V. Vassey is a Psychiatrist who earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, completed his Doctor of Medicine at St. Matthew's University School of Medicine (Grand Cayman), and finished his internship in Internal Medicine at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Washington. He completed his Psychiatry residency at the University of Washington and takes pride in an empathetic and understanding approach.
Dr. Vassey has experience working in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings, seeing psychiatric patients, ER patients, and medically admitted consults. He performs comprehensive mental health assessments, helps patients manage long-term mental health conditions, and provides medication management and therapy for a wide variety of psychological disorders.
Dr. Vassey sees patients aged 18 and older and offers referrals to other medical specialists as needed. We are a cash-pay practice but are happy to provide a receipt that can be used for insurance reimbursement.

Integrated Psychiatry is committed to providing the most compassionate, efficient, and sympathetic care to our patients. Dr. Vassey has over 10 years of experience. He and the staff of Integrated Psychiatry use medication management and therapy for a wide variety of psychological disorders to treat our patients. Houston residents who have come to our office have experienced the best possible treatment anyone can offer.
Established in 2022 and conveniently located in the Galleria Area, Integrated Psychiatry is in the Capital One Building, less than a half mile from major highway access. Parking is conveniently located in the front and back of the building. Mental Illness is a behavioral or mental pattern that causes significant distress or impairment of personal functioning, which is why we at Integrated Psychiatry take each case very seriously and extend nothing but the absolute best treatment for our patients.

I had to wait an hour before seeing the doctor however, the doctors performance was outstanding. He took so much time talking to me about my medication's that the wait was worth . The girl at the desk was unfriendly. She tried to change my appointment twice on both occasions I came to the doctor. I don't know what the problem was. This doctor is outstanding. I've seen many psychiatrist in my history and he far outshines any doctor I've seen

I was really impressed with the young lady who at first was calling to tell me that my appointment was cancelled. However when she found out that I was really needing to see the doctor she honored my request and the doctor saw me on my assigned date May 27 and 11:30. Great experience with Dr. Vassey! He was very thorough, but also didn't make me feel like I had to prove my diagnosis to him. He was efficient and gave me the care I needed! I also was able to get in for an initial appointment rather quickly which is always a struggle with psychiatrists. Booking through Zocdoc was super simple too. Would definitely recommend!

I was very impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and wonderful bedside manner of Dr. Vassey. I sincerely enjoyed our conversation to discuss my issues and concerns. We developed a plan for my Adult ADD and will be following up soon to check on progress. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to address this issue for themselves.

The psychiatrist is great. He is attentive, knowledgeable and caring. He understands what i am talking about and makes quick judgement. During the first visit, we have done assessment and worked out a treatment plan. It was quite an efficient first visit.
The problem is the front desk. First, when i arrived, the receptionist told me that my appointment was 3pm, 30 minutes behind my Zoddoc appointment time 2:30PM. nobody informed me of this change before. All the email reminder I received was 2:30PM. I arrived 2:15PM, 15 minuted earlier as instructed by the Zoddoc, but met the doctor around 3:20PM. Altogether I waited for more than 70 minutes. Second, the receptionist could have better manners. during the entire process, she addressed me as "excuse me".

This was my first experience with a psychiatrist and Zocdoc, and Dr. Vassey and his office left a phenomenal first impression. I was able to schedule an appointment very easily, and the office staff were very kind and helpful in explaining everything that was needed of me regarding the appointment. Furthermore, while talking with the doctor directly, I felt listened to and cared for. We discussed my goals and current condition very comfortably, and I left with a plan for management and follow up to see my progress.
