Nay Htyte is a board certified interventional cardiologist. After completing his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology training in New Orleans Louisiana at The John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute, he returned to New York City and is now practicing in Brooklyn at Brooklyn Heart while performing peripheral arterial and venous interventions at USA Vein Clinics. He has hospital affiliations with cath-lab privileges at major hospital systems including NYU Langone Health Center, NY Presbyterian Queens Hospital and St. Barnabas Medical Center and has a keen interest in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and obtained his medicine residency training from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, at what is now Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s and Mt. Sinai West. He is Board Certified in cardiovascular diseases and is a Diplomate of The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Htyte is an expert in all aspects of cardiology including but not limited to – invasive coronary and peripheral arterial interventions, preventative cardiology, venous compression disorders, chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins, and non-invasive cardiovascular imaging. He continues to be an active contributor to academic publication in major peer review journals and most recently, has co-authored two textbook chapters.

As you probably already see from other reviews, Dr. Nay is a really professional and caring cardiologist. I came on a Thursday afternoon for chest pain I've been having for quite some time, and without any wait time I was attended by the nurse. She's really nice and professional as well, and immediately calm me down. I did an EKG and stayed with Dr. Nay for an hour, he is very patient in answering all of my questions and concerns. After that he recommended me to do a stress EKG test and helped me schedule an Echo test the next day. The doctor's office is highly efficient and cozy, and you can tell Dr. Nay is unlike other typical doctors that are just for your money, who will just open as many very short appointment slot as possible and when you come he will keep going from one room to another. Dr. Nay is also very caring about the healthy of the patient, I can tell he's really proud of treating his patients and being a doctor. Highly recommend!
Dr. Htyte is kind , informative and does the best job in making sure you feel comfortable in his care. His staff is friendly and caring as well. I’ve had several visits at Dr. Htyte’s office and I can say that I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking care and consult in his specialty!!

Not being a native to NY finding a good doctor has been a nightmare. When I walked into Dr. Htyte's office I was warmly greeted and the space was clean and VERY well designed. A big deal for NY! I can not tell you how many offices I've been in that felt like the decor had been around since the 70s and not well kempt. Ok, so decor is not why I'm here, it's about the Dr. Dr. Htyte was the first doctor that really took time to talk to me and understand my concerns and address them in an office not while sitting in a gown and feeling humiliated on a table. Bedside manner was impeccable. I'd highly recommend him.
Very professional, friendly and thorough

Dr. Htyte was amazing from start to finish. If you are looking for a Dr. to listen and answer all your questions without feeling rushed, well that's him. He takes his time to listen and explain all your concerns. I think Dr. Htyte is awesome! He not only cares about his patients, he is very understanding in terms of scheduling appointments. I never have to wait before I am seen and he is always very professional. My favorite part about Dr. Htyte is that he spends as much time as a patient may need to help you understand the lingo in depth. He knows that not everyone has a background in medicine and is super understanding when it comes to teaching. Would highly recommend.

Plan of care was formulated with my participation and was unique to my concerns . I made an appointment with Dr. Htyte because of an irregular ekg and elevated blood pressure readings. He was amazingly compassionate and spent as long as was needed to explain what was going on and what to do about it. I have not been to such a caring and passionate doctor in a long time, if ever. From our conversation I understood that he wants to practice medicine in a way that seems very rare these days... patient centered, slowly, methodically, thoroughly, and with his primary concern being for the patient and not his schedule. And that is exactly how he was on my first visit. So glad I found him!

I went to the ER and was told I had GERD. My primary care doctor recommended that I see a heart doctor. I came upon Dr. Htyte by chance and I'm so glad that I did. I am alive today thanks to his help. I would recommend him to anyone and have already done so to to all of my family. Dr. Htyte is the best, he is worth the wait and commute!
