About Dr. Nazanin Moossavi
Dr. Moossavi is a Board-certified family physician in Plano with over 20 years of experience caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In the past seven years, she has cared for patients after bariatric surgery and worked in the emergency room. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine. She completed her Master's in Public Health and residency in Mother and Child Health at the University of Tehran. Dr. Moossavi also completed her Family Medicine residency at the Wichita Falls Family Medicine Program, an affiliate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She takes a whole-person approach to patient care, taking time to listen attentively and perform detailed physical exams.
