About Nazar Golewale
Following his tenure as Medical Director of Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Elkhart General Hospital in Indiana, Dr. Nazar Golewale decided to open his own practice. He brings his extensive experience in vascular and interventional radiology to patients in northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago area, along with the convenience of outpatient treatment at three conveniently located, state-of-the-art centers.
Dr. Golewale earned his Doctor of Medicine from Yale University and is board-certified. He is highly experienced, having performed more than 6,000 interventional procedures to treat conditions such as peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, uterine fibroids, enlarged prostate (BPH), chronic hemorrhoids, and knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. He also performs interventional procedures to support dialysis patients, such as AV fistula creation and management.
Dr. Golewale has authored numerous scientific publications and presented abstracts at national and international conferences on vascular diagnosis and treatments. He has published many professionally peer-reviewed articles in his field, including works for RSNA, SIR, Neuro, and other prominent medical journals. In addition to his training in General Surgery and Radiology, he has also completed training in Nuclear Medicine. Outside of his work, he is happily married with four children and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and fishing.

It was very disorganized it felt the communication between the staff was a bit off . Waited almost an hour before I was seen. Also made an appointment with a doctor and was seen by a PA instead. The PA was fine but I feel it should've been made known to me the appointment was with a PA and not the actual doctor.

The doctor was great, it was the appointment for my vein treatment and information that wasn't. I had my vein treatment two weeks after my assessment. The fire paramedic who was onsite doing the treatments had a hard time with my injection and it was very painful, I told her that I had small veins, it seemed as if she was not used to working with those type of veins. When I removed my bandage, there was a big piece of skin that came of with it. I asked for a doctor's note about my treatment for my job, in case I would have to take a day off from the treatment. Which I did have to do because my was swollen and I pain. I asked for paperwork about my procedure, I couldn't get anything but a general after care statement. I couldn't even see anything about my general assessment and recommended treatment. I am comfortable with this kinda cloak and dagger when comes to my health and body

I didn’t actually meet with the doctor. He seemed to be overbooked. The office seems like a start up office, lacking professionalism, cleanliness and didn’t lend itself appearance wise to be legit.
