About Dr. Neda Mehmandoost
Dr. Neda Mehmandoost, DPM, AACFAS earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas in San Antonio. She went on to graduate from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with added certification in reconstructive rear foot/ankle surgery at West Houston Medical Center where she excelled in the advanced techniques of foot and ankle reconstruction, podiatric surgery, sports medicine, as well as treatment of the diabetic foot.
Dr. Mehmandoost is committed to her patients and treats patients of all ages. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA)
Her philosophy as a physician is to treat her patients the same way she would treat her family, and she is a firm believer of providing the highest standard of patient care. She enjoys taking the time to explain all aspects of her patient’s diagnosis and treatment plan so that her patients can take an active role in their own healthcare. She takes pleasure in getting to know her patients, and building relationships as their treatment progresses. She feels blessed to be able to use her knowledge to help those affected by foot or ankle ailments, and enable them to walk pain free again. She is fluent in Farsi and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family.

Had a partial matrixectomy to fix an ingrown toenail. Quick procedure and was painless. Dr. Doost is very kind, listens well, and is caring of her patients. The rest of the staff is welcoming and efficient. Great experience.

The office was beautiful with adequate parking behind the building. The staff was very nice and all my online pre-check-in information was in place. I was taken to an exam room for vitals pretty quickly, but then had to wait a bit too long for the doctor to come in. Once she arrived, the communication and care were excellent. I was offered treatment options, but she was not pushy at all. She presented and explained my options and let me choose which direction I wanted to go. On the whole, I was quite pleased with the appointment.

Really appreciated how effective and efficient Dr. Doost and Gwen handled caring my ingrown toenail. They were kind and explained everything clearly before starting the procedure. Then it was quick and efficient. End to end I was there less than 45 minutes and the nail piece removed. Some soaks and antibiotics should be all!
