About Dr. Nicholas Argerakis
Dr. Nick is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital's Department of Orthopedic Surgery. His philosophy in treating patients is to always attempt a non-surgical approach to improve one's quality of life. If surgery is necessary, he strives to achieve the best results using the most advanced and proven surgical techniques. A rapid return to activity with an aesthetically pleasing foot is always a priority. His special interests include bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, tendinitis, and previously failed foot surgery.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he also completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He then completed a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at the Weil Foot and Ankle Institute in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Argerakis lectures both nationally and internationally on various foot and ankle surgical procedures and has published several scientific papers on his techniques and outcomes. He serves as clinical faculty in the Department of Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he is extensively involved in the education and training of students and residents.

Had a telehealth appointment with the Dr and it went well. He listened to all my concerns and thoroughly explained the next steps of my care to me. Advised for me to follow up if symptoms persist. The appointment never happened. First time using this system and nothing was clear. Never received a call to notify me of what was going on. I called the office only to be directed to an automated system. Would like to have gotten some sort of assistance. Very unhappy with it being my first time using the Zocdoc app. I’m trying a different doctor for the same issue and hopefully the 2nd time around is better.

Doc was very nice. No wait time. However i went there for an ingrown toenail removal and he did not have the proper tools to remove it as it was at his manhatten office so basically i wasted a trip there. However he was very nice, office staff was nice. Just wish he had tools to be able to do proved at both offices

Dr. Nick is very knowledgeable and immediately saw what was causing my foot problem. I was going to another foot doctor previously and it was never explained to me what is causing my foot problems. I highly recommend this doctor. My only concern is since we are dealing with the foot, and many other people’s feet, I would prefer to sit on exam table paper, especially the spot where I put my foot. The doctor did use table paper while working on my foot but it would have been nice to have that before sitting on the exam table.

My experience with Dr Argerakis was exceptional , very knowledgeable ,.he pinpointed exactly what my issue was . He was very attentive and patient with me. He told me step by step what the plan of care would be for me. I felt as though we knew each other for many years. I take comfort in knowindg whatever my issue is currently , will be resolved.

I didn’t have to wait. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly. Dr. Argerakis was terrific. He listened to all my concerns and spent a good deal of time explaining my diagnosis and ways to treat my issues. Time will tell if he solves my problems but so far I have confidence in his abilities.

Dr Nick is the coolest and smartest podiatrist. He is brilliant, personable, and honest. I originally met with another podiatrist who insisted that I undergo surgery to correct an issue with my flat feet. I scheduled an appointment with Dr Nick for a second opinion and his honesty and brilliance completely blew me away. We proceeded with a different approach that did not require surgery, and I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr Nick.

Dr Nick is the best! I was so nervous about the appointment & left feeling completely informed, calm, & prepared for my procedure. He was even able to see me earlier than my appointment. My teenage Son lives for Soccer & unfortunately fractured his toe during Varsity training over the Summer. He was deeply upset to miss the Season! I found Dr. Argerakis through Zocdoc as a second opinion, as I didn’t feel confident with the quality of care from our local Podiatrist. So glad I did! Dr. Argerakis was super thorough with x-rays, explanation of the injury, & took the extra time to give my Son a path for healing that should get him back on the field before the end of the Season. Totally recommend!

Dr. Argerakis is truly a step above. His staff greeted me with a warm welcome and was accommodating. The office is very clean and modern. I had seen other podiatrists for the pain I experience in my feet on a daily basis. None of them took the amount of time that Dr. Argerakis did to explain to me what the issue was or the various treatment options available. Even after one appointment, it is clearly evident that his knowledge in podiatry and medicine as a whole is superior. Dr. Argerakis is very easy to communicate with and has an outgoing personality. I would highly recommend Dr. Argerakis if you are looking for premium care.
