As a licensed clinical psychologist my primary goal is to work with clients to identify and reach their goals while also increasing their sense of satisfaction and fulfillment in their life. I pull from evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy to help my clients. By utilizing these approaches, help clients explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that they find themselves stuck in and learn new and effective ways of managing negative thoughts and feelings and making positive behavior changes. When I work with clients,I like to take a strengths-based approach and build on the skills and values that my clients already have. I completed my doctoral training at Widener University's Institute for graduate Clinical Psychology in 2018. Throughout my doctoral training, I have the privilege of being able to have a variety of experiences working with people from all walks of life. I have completed practicum and internship focusing on assessment and Psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of psychological issues, including depression, bipolar, anxiety, psychosis, grief, substance abuse, autism, ADHD, and PTSD. After I graduated in 2018, I completed a postdoctoral residency in Central Florida, where my training focused on psychotherapy and assessment with geriatric and severe and persistent mental illness populations. Throughout my graduate and postdoctoral training I have gained experience working with individuals from ages 3 to 103.
