“I felt like I was in expert hands throughout my visit. Using the Zocdoc app to inform the staff in advance was helpful (I opted to use the app instead of filling out forms by hand). The staff was very responsive, able to pull my complex medical information together from multiple areas to provide comprehensive information to the doctor. The doctor provided excellent analysis and was a great listener. He thoughtfully explained to me as he was doing the intake, and he developed an appropriate treatment plan with me. He said he would take a conservative approach with my treatment to start. I got the clarity about my condition I was looking for, and learned how to adjust my daily activities for optimal improvement of my symptoms. I am looking forward to my next visit with them, and highly recommend this office.”

About Dr. Nicholas Zuccala
Dr. Nicholas Zuccala received his chiropractic degree (DC) from New York Chiropractic College, and opened his first Smithtown office in 1993. Dr. Zuccala holds post-graduate certifications in Sports Injuries and Muscle Release Technique. He believes education is never-ending, and he continues to take classes so that his patients can be assured of the finest chiropractic care.
For over two decades, Dr. Zuccala has treated thousands of patients, with conditions ranging from back pain to whiplash, scoliosis to sciatica, headaches to arthritis, and herniated discs to carpal tunnel syndrome. He specializes in difficult cases and welcomes new patients who have been living with chronic pain. Additionally, as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, Dr. Zuccala enjoys working with athletes, military and first-responders to keep them in peak physical condition.

Dr.Zuccala was extremely thorough in his examination. He explained every detail of my visit, his treatment and put my mind at ease with regard to my physical ( specifically neck) issues. His suggestions allowed me three consecutive nights of sleep without neck pain as I had experienced prior to seeing Dr.Zuccala. I would most definitively recommend Dr.Zuccala to anyone in need of chiropractic treatment.

Dr. Zuccala has been treating me for years (I tend to forget to make appointments and wait too long in between!). He is patient, listens intently to all of your concerns, and provides personalized treatment to each of his patients.
