Getting to know Nicole Dressler
I approach mental health care with warmth, empathy, and a deep commitment to patient-centered support. I believe treatment should be a collaborative experience where you feel heard and empowered to take control of your well-being.
With a focus on trust and open communication, I create a safe space for patients to explore their concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and work toward lasting progress.
My approach integrates medication management with supportive guidance, ensuring that every treatment plan is both practical and effective.
I'm especially passionate about peripartum and postpartum mental health, supporting patients through the emotional and psychological changes that come with parenthood.
I've also worked extensively with young adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and trauma survivors and specialize in conditions like treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University and hold a Bachelor's degree from The University of Arizona, which have equipped me with a strong foundation to provide comprehensive mental health care.
To unwind, I hike, dance, and travel. A lover of fantasy novels, I appreciate the power of stories to provide both an escape and inspiration.
As a mom of twin toddlers, I understand firsthand the challenges of balancing self-care with daily responsibilities-insights that inform my compassionate, real-world approach to mental health care.

A quick note on insurance: I know navigating insurance plans and copays can be confusing, so I want to be upfront about coverage before you book. I’m in-network with most health insurance plans, but I want to make sure there are no surprises when it comes to billing.
At this time, I’m not in-network with Medicaid plans, including AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) and Health First Colorado (Colorado Medicaid) — even if they’re combined with another type of insurance. Due to state regulations, I’m unable to see patients with Medicaid coverage.
If your insurance card lists your plan as a Community Plan, it is a Medicaid-sponsored health plan and is not accepted at our practice.
I truly wish I could treat everyone, but unfortunately, some types of coverage prevent me from providing care. If this applies to you, I completely understand how frustrating that may be and encourage you to check with your plan for in-network providers who can meet your needs.

Nicole is amazing! She is extremely easy to talk to and was extremely thorough in her evaluation of my mental health/history. She is a great listener, really got to the root cause of my issues, and in general was very understanding and empathetic in her approach.
During my follow up she was good to see exactly how I was doing on the medications she had prescribed, and adjusted my plan accordingly based on what I told her. I feel like she genuinely listens to my opinions and feelings and really catered my prescriptions to my issues and how I wanted to treat them.
I put off making a mental health appointment for the longest time because I had a lot of anxiety surrounding doctors visits, but I’m so glad I did. Her assistance has really helped me get a sense of control and normalcy back. I would fully 100% recommend her to anyone looking for help!
