About Nicolette Owens
Nicolette Owens, FNP received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2013 and her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2021 from the University of Phoenix.
Nicolette has over 12 years of healthcare experience. She started her career in healthcare working as a nursing assistant for a private home health company as well as the emergency room at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, while completing her bachelor’s degree. She has 8 years of Emergency Room and acute care nursing experience with specific emphasis on stroke care. She was a part of the founding team that started the mobile Barrow Emergency Stroke Treatment Unit created by the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute. That project provided her with special training and certification in Emergency Neurological Life Support and NIHSS stroke assessment and her team received an innovation award for the project in 2018-2019. Nicolette is now a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the Arizona Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, National Society of Leadership and Success, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Nicolette was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Outside of healthcare, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, yoga, trying new restaurants, listening to live music and above all, wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma, California.

Nicolette was fantastic, she listened to all my concerns and questions. Understood my immediate and long term needs. Set me up as a established patient as requested and ordered routine labs.
The location has an in house lab, the phlebotomist was pleasant and quick. Wonderful customer service form all the staff I encountered.

Nicolette is very nice, professional. The only slightly negative feedback I have is that they asked me to bring in all the medications I take and then they didn’t even write them down or look at them. Also she said she wanted a urinalysis but they must have forgotten because I never gave a specimen. We did talk about a lot, though, and she covered a lot of ground with me and took her time. I went in for a GYN appointment and asked her to be my PCP she was so good.

If she read my profile, in which I reminded her that I am a virgin and have never had intimacy with any person.
She was rough with my first-ever pap smear. She did not explain anything. I was in excruciating pain. She attempted 3x.
She could have been more gentle. More reassuring.
After this experience, I never want to have children.
I am changing my doctor immediately and will never return.
Afterwards, she left me in the room. Never return to follow up, let me know that I was spotted. She never informed me that I would go through the next few days experiencing cramps. What a horrible experience.
I left feeling abused.
