About Dominique (Nikki) Johnston

My practice will reach out to you if you book and something opens sooner, just let us know you would like to be on the cancellation list.** Hi! I’m Nikki Johnston, Registered Dietitian. My interest in nutrition started with a general interest in health and wellness and grew as I learned more about the power of nutrition. I have extensive nutrition training in a wide variety of clinical backgrounds including: Inpatient/Hospital, Rehab, Long-term care, Nutrition Support (Tube Feeding and TPN), and Renal/Kidney Disease. Working with a wide variety of clients has led me to starting my own practice, Nutrition Support Solutions. I believe that all people deserve nutritional care and practice with a HAES informed approach. I like to say that I’m a “No-Diet Dietitian” and I don’t believe in fad-diets. I believe in setting achievable goals and making healthy changes that are maintainable long-term. My training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as cardiovascular (heart) disease, renal (kidney) disease, weight management, thyroid disease, wound healing, pre-diabetes/Type 2 Diabetes, chronic migraines, disordered eating, restricting/avoidance, food exposure, and other disease prevention/wellness. I have an additional passion for the area of Nutrition Support, which I also hold a board certification as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from La Salle University and completed a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition with a Clinical Concentration from the University of Alabama. I look forward to working with you and helping you to achieve your nutrition and wellness goals!
