Hello, I'm Dr. Nina. It has been a privilege to walk alongside others when they want additional help in dealing with relationship issues, managing more complex psychological issues, or trauma, bolstering recovery, and just talking things through. I am currently offering telehealth services to adolescents (ages 11 and up) and adults. I also work with couples, parents, and families. With a PhD and over 20 years of experience in the field, I have had the opportunity to work in various capacities and settings, including as an adjunct professor, supervisor of therapy/testing, and a psychotherapist in hospitals, universities, and a military behavioral health clinic. My extensive experience includes treating depression and anxiety, grief/loss, relationship concerns, OCD, infertility, adjustment/self-esteem problems in children, substance use issues, and personal growth. I also specialize in working with adolescents and college students exploring their identity, values, and enhancing relationships. Additionally, being a military spouse, I have a special interest in working with military families, veterans, and first responders on issues of trauma, relocation, separation, interpersonal conflicts, and readjustment issues. My goal is to blend evidence-based treatment, including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, with a warm, caring style. I like to take a holistic approach, focusing on all aspects of psychological, physical, and spiritual health. I offer culturally competent therapy—welcoming anyone regardless of sexual orientation, ethnicity, and religion. Together, we can identify your innate strengths and build coping skills to uncover patterns, enhance insight, and foster long-term wellness and resilience.
