About Dr. Nina Singhal
Dr. Nina Singhal was born in Boston, MA and soon after moved to Texas where she has remained. She graduated high school in Sugarland and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Houston in 2001. She then attended The University of North Texas Health Science Center of Fort Worth for her medical degree which she received in 2006. She completed her Pediatric residency training in 2009 at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in Austin, TX. She then practiced in Austin for 3 years prior to moving to Dallas. Dr. Singhal joined Children’s Health Pediatric Group in 2012 in Dallas and remained there until the summer of 2018.
Dr. Singhal has now returned back to Sugarland and is honored to serve the Sugarland community and believes that educating her patients and their families is fundamental to the health and development of our children. Dr. Singhal currently resides in Sugarland, TX with her husband and two kids. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors.

Zero wait time. I think the office is more suited for small children. Not really teenagers. My teen felt unheard and that they weren’t believed about their mental health issues. But the doctor did communicate clearly to us about their health overall. But we weren’t given a referral that was asked for. The doctor scheduled a blood panel but the front staff didn’t have it ready. When I asked for it they gave me the order for another patient. With all of their personal information on it. I called back and they said they didn’t give our information to the other family but who knows. They told me to pick out a quest diagnostics and they would fax the order over. When I called back they told me to get the fax number and THEN call back. So now because I’m just an ordinary person, I’ve been on hold with customer service for 45 minutes and counting. Surely a doctors office would have better access than I.

I usually see Dr. Singhal, but Dr. Ahmed assisted us recently. They are both knowledgeable, but lack somewhat in bedside manners. The warmth and comfort you would perceive to receive at the pediatrician's is a bit lost here. It is strictly routine business visits with not much emphasis on making kids feel welcome. Dr. Singhal was more well-received by my baby as she interacts and smiles more with baby. Would recommend Dr. Nina Singhal!

Dr. Nina is so awesome. She’s very straight forward with her approach to treatment but she also is willing to listen to all your concerns. She’s very sweet and gentle with the kids even the older ones. I never ever feel rushed and her team of nurses always do a great and efficient job with my kids.
