I have experience treating all psychiatric disorders. I am a Board Certified psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine and surgery in California. My areas of expertise are depression, insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, mood and marital problems. My methods of treatment are individual and couple psychotherapy and the prescription of medications, when indicated. I received my bachelor’s degree from NYU, my M.D. degree from the State University of N.Y. in NYC and completed my internship at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and psychiatric residence at the Kings County Hospital Center. Maintaining a practice of adult psychiatry in Manhattan and Brooklyn, I advanced academically to be a tenured professor of psychiatry at 2 medical universities. In 2006 I came to Los Angeles.

Very caring, compassionate Doctor. Dr. Levy, always takes the time to listen to me and gives me his while hearted attention. Office is comfy and makes you feel right at home. Never had to wait, he's always ready for me as soon as i walk in.
I would eecommend Dr. Levy to everyone and anyone in need of a Doctor with excellent bedside manner! A Doc that cares about his patients 100%!

As far as psychiatrists go, he's the real deal. He knows his stuff and he doesn't do it for the money, he does it because he wanted to help people. Yes, he's older, so what! He's a good guy. If you need help, he'll help you.

strange. didn't seem too concerned with my actual problems, just asked a few questions and wrote me a prescription that I believe to have somehow been manipulated because after taking the medication, it did not affect me as it normally would after getting a normal prescription from a doctor's office (not some strange man's home) so I've had to take a higher dosage (one which I have never ever had to take) .... He could hardly hear anything, which is not something I can complain about, but he had me yelling in order to hear me.... it wasn't a very "relaxing session" .... And it was way too costly for a private in-home visit that lasted about 25 minutes. And again, he did not even dive into anything personal or deep to at least try and make me feel better in a therapy/diagnosis session.......... would not recommend to anybody

Amazing. Out of network but is soooooo worth the money. He listens, cares, respects, and truly is a genuine psychiatrist who I would recommend to my loved ones. One of the best out there, and I've seen many!
