Working with a younger population or family members is always a welcome challenge, as is the nuanced approach to busy professionals in a rapidly changing world. I believe in mutual respect and teamwork, as well as the ability to adapt to individual differences and expectations. I completed my undergraduate degree at Emory University and received my Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University. I completed general psychiatry training at Louisiana State University and Ochsner Health in New Orleans, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch. I am double board certified in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
