About Dr. Omar Rahman
Dr. Rahman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who focuses on both operative and non-operative management of sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, and arthritis. Dr. Rahman graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology while minoring in Economics. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine and concurrently obtained his Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital-Northwell Health in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He then went on to the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles to complete his sports medicine & shoulder surgery fellowship, where he was part of the medical staff for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Galaxy, Pepperdine University, and many local junior colleges and high schools, while training under Drs. Neal ElAttrache, Bert Mandelbaum, and John Itamura.

A fantastic doctor, I don’t want to go into personal specifics on here, but this doctor caught something, that was outside of Dr Rahman direct specialism, something serious. It was missed by another doctor but Dr Rahman pushed through and caught it. I would recommend this doctor to my closest family. I am scared of what was found and he’s been with me side by side through this terrible time even calling me after hours. Amazing doctor that I am thankful to find.

Great doctor, attentive and knowledgeable. Gave me a good explanation of what is going on with my issue and what to expect going forward. His front desk staff was a bit rude. Specifically a woman named Josie. I sent my information in earlier in the week, but because she couldn’t find it, I had to do it all over again, no apologies, nor did she try and figure out what when wrong and where my insurance card went. Then the nurse in the room asked me the same questions I had just completed in the waiting room. I waited over 30 minutes between waiting and filling out paperwork again. Front desk procedures need to be reevaluated and/or streamlined. I can’t imagine how new elderly patients are treated if they have difficulty filling out paperwork.

This doctor was a great listener and very well informed. He did not rush me when explaining my symptoms and did a very thorough evaluation of my injury. He thought well on his feet and suggested alternatives for treatment and medications. Resources were provided for many MRI locations and PT locations. The office staff were kind and helpful. In my opinion, he was an excellent doctor. I appreciated the alternatives to surgery.
I will update this review if I have surgery and will provide feedback on the experience with the physician.

Dr Omar Rehman is an extremely professional Orthopaedic physician. He listen, analysis, takes all x-rays needed for the patient, He gives his recommendations and listens to what is that you want, With going over all pros and cons makes decisions on your treatment. I highly recommend to all those with knee pain and other foot problems!

The pre-appointment screening process was efficient and helpful, as it allowed my file to be prepared in advance, resulting in a quicker initial visit. Dr. was pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave me a detailed description of what is going on with hip and supported me doing physical therapy, but let me know the process of what happens with surgery. I would recommend this doctor. The office staff was very kind and helpful. I waiting for a while after checking in and finishing my paperwork, but they otherwise had good customer service.

The office staff were great especially the x-ray technician but Dr. Omar seemed like he wanted to rush you out of the office not really asking about symptoms and not really listening to you and trying to dig deeper to figure out the problem.
