About Dr. Omid Nikrouz

Dr. Omid Nikrouz, MD, is an award-winning, dedicated internist working in New York City, NY. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Aut?noma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Methodist Health System, Dallas. Dr. Nikrouz is board-certified in internal medicine. He provides general internal medical care for everything from annual wellness exams to weight loss, food and seasonal allergy testing, and cardiac and lung disease. He also performs vaccinations and cancer screenings and is certified to examine commercial drivers and athletes. Dr. Nikrouz's clinic also offers cardiovascular screening with EKG to diagnose cardiac disease, as well as clearance for surgery. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Nikrouz holds an associate academic professor position at Touro School of Medicine and acts as a senior medical correspondent for the Telemundo NY television channel. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Farsi and is active in conducting research in his field.
