She received her MD degree from Meharry Medical College. Her pediatric residency training was done at Kosair Children’s Hospital at the University of Louisville. She then did a 1 year fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the University of Alabama. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Huffman-DeVaughn is the founder of PAMCOP and has been practicing pediatrics & adolescent medicine since 1986. Her special interest includes working with adolescents, obesity and asthma care. She enjoys gardening, arts and crafts, music and reading. She is married and has 2 children.
